Abstract:Objective To study the construction nursing sensitive quality index (NSQI) in oncology specialized department and its influence on nursing quality.Methods A total of 120 patients admitted to oncology specialized department of the Fifth People′s Hospital of Shenyang City from January to June 2019 were selected as the control group,and 120 patients admitted to oncology specialized department from July to December 2019 were selected as the observation group.The control group received conventional nursing,and the observation group constructed NSQI for nursing.Quality of life score,total incidence of adverse events and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after nursing.Results There was no significant difference in scores of quality of life between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05).The scores of quality of life in the two groups after nursing were higher than before,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 21.67%,lower than 73.33% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 89.17%,higher than 76.67% of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The establishment of NSQI in oncology specialized department can improve patients′ quality of life and nursing satisfaction,reduce the occurrence of adverse events,and provide scientific guidance and basis for the management of nursing quality in oncology department,which is worth promoting.
