Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of detailed nursing in patients with oral and maxillofacial space infection.Methods A total of 82 patients with oral and maxillofacial space infection admitted to Yingtan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2019 to February 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,the observation group implemented detailed care.The clinical symptom relief time,mental state,quality of life,and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The redness,fever,and pain relife time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Before the intervention,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in Hamilton depression scale (HAMD),Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA),and quality of life questionnaire (QOL-30) (P＞0.05).After the intervention,the HAMD and HAMA scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,QOL-30 score was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The observation group′s total nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Detailed nursing can improve the symptoms of patients with oral and maxillofacial space infection,relieve bad mood,improve the quality of life,and improve nursing satisfaction.
