Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of evidence-based nursing intervention in male schizophrenia patients.Methods A total of 135 male patients with schizophrenia hospitalized in Mental Hospital of Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau from January 2018 to June 2020 were selected as research subjects and divided into the conventional group (68 cases) and the evidence-based group (67 cases) according to the envelope method.The evidence-based group was given evidence-based nursing intervention,while the conventional group was given conventional nursing intervention.The cognition of the disease and nursing effect of patients in the two groups were evaluated using insight and treatment attitude questionnaire (ITAQ) and nurses′ observation scale inpatient evaluation (NOSIE).The nursing compliance rate of the two groups was compared.Results The ITAQ score of the evidence-based group was higher than that of the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The NOSIE score of the evidencebased group was lower than that of the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing compliance rate of the evidence-based group was higher than that of the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The use of evidence-based nursing intervention in male patients with schizophrenia can effectively increase the nursing compliance,enhance patients′ cognition of the disease and nursing effect,and improve patients′ attitude to medication.
