Application effect comparison of family members involved in nursing intervention and routine nursing in patients with multiple metatarsal fractures

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of family members involved in nursing intervention and routine nursing in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with multiple metatarsal fractures.Methods Sixty patients with multiple metatarsal fractures from January 2016 to June 2017 were enrolled as subjects in the department of outpatient in our hospital.The patients were divided into observation group and control group by the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.In the control group,routine nursing was used,while in the observation group,the family members involved in the nursing intervention was adopted.The outpatient treatment,rehabilitation and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the outpatient cost of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS)scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the SAS scores of the two group were lower than those before treatment,and the SAS scores of the observation group were lower than the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05).Half-year follow-up showed that the external fixation dismantling time and fracture healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group.The excellent and good rate of foot functional recovery was superior to that of the control group with a significant difference(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group(93.33%)was higher than that of the control group(73.33%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Family members of patients with multiple metatarsal fractures involved in nursing intervention can effectively improve the treatment of patients,facilitate the improvement of rehabilitation and nursing satisfaction,and has good economic benefit.
