Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of health education in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD)patients. Methods A total of 92 patients who underwent regular dialysis from January 2017 to January 2018 in hemodialysis center of our hospital were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 46 cases in each group. The control group received routine dialysis and life guidance during dialysis, and the observation group received special health education,6 months for a cycle. The albumin(Alb),hemoglobin(Hb),creatinine(SCr),urea nitrogen(BUN),blood potassium(K+)level between the two groups before and after intervention were compared, and the patients′psychosocial quality of life (MCS),physiologically relevant quality of life(PCS),and kidney-dialysis-related quality of life(KDTA)were scored using the KDQOL-SF1.3 scale. Results Compared with pre-intervention,the levels of Alb and Hb were significantly increased in the observation group after intervention, and the levels of SCr,BUN and K+were significantly lower(P<0.05).The levels of Alb and Hb were higher than those of the control group, and the levels of SCr,BUN and K+were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).Compared with the pre-intervention,the MCS,PCS and KDTA scores of the observation group were significantly increased (P<0.05).The MCS,PCS and KDTA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after intervention, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Health education in patients with MHD can improve various physiological indicators and improve the quality of life.It is worth learning.
