Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of continuous nursing in the nursing of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods A total of 120 COPD patients treated in our hospital from January 2018 to February 2019 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group using the dichroic method,60 cases in each group. The control group was given the routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given the continuous nursing intervention. The quality of life, self-management ability and pulmonary function before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of physical health, mental health, physical role function, emotional role function, social function, physical pain, energy and overall health of the patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). And the scores of selfmanagement ability scale items in the observation group after intervention were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The one second forced expiratory volume (FEV1), FEV1/forced vital capacity (FVC) and arterial partial oxygen pressure in the observation group after intervention were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically siatistically significant (P<0.05). The level of Paco in arterial blood in the observation group after intervention was lower than that in the control group and before intervation, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing can significantly improve the quality of life and self-management ability of COPD patients, improve lung function, and has significant clinical application value.
