Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early intervention and holistic nursing on neonatal jaundice. Methods The clinical data of 110 newborns who were hospitalized in the postpartum area of our hospital from April to October 2017 were studied. All the newborns were divided by the random number table method into the observation group(45 cases)and the control group(65 cases). The control group was received routine basic nursing, while the observation group was received comprehensive holistic nursing and intervention on the basis of the control group. The daily bilirubin level, the first defecation time, the number of daily defecation and the incidence of pathological jaundice were recorded and compared between the two groups at post-operational 3 days. Results The daily bilirubin level of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The first defecation time of the observation group was significantly earlier than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of daily defecation of the observation group was more than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of pathological jaundice of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Early intervention and holistic nursing measures should be taken for neonates to reduce the daily neonatal bilirubin level and the incidence of neonatal pathological jaundice, which is of great significance and worthy of clinical promotion.
