Abstract:Objective To explore effect of health quotient based health management on elderly patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).Methods 200 elderly with stable COPD admitted into our hospital from January to 2014 December 2015 were selected as research subjects and randomly divided into two groups,each group with 100 cases,patients in the control group only were given for routine care,while patients in observation group were given health manage of entire process on base of routine care.The change of health awareness,health knowledge and health capabilities was evaluabled to patients by health quotient questionnaire after health management,care satisfaction of patients was surveyed by use of homemade patient satisfaction questionnaire.Results Subscale scores of self-care,life-style,mental status and life skill of patients before and after the implementation of health management in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Nursing satisfaction in the observation group were 96%was significantly higher 77%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive health management can improve the health quotient index of patients with stable COPD and reduce monitoring indicators of risk factors.
