Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of proximal anti-rotary intramedullary nail in the treatment of elderly patient with femoral intertrochanteric fracture.Methods 87 elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture treated in our hospital from January 2015 to April 2016 were selected and divided into the observation group(47 cases) and the control group(40 cases)according to different operation methods.The observation group was treated with proximal anti-rotary intramedullary nail,the control group was treated with dynamic hip screw.The clinical effect and complications in the two groups were compared.Results The Harris score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05)The incidence rate of complications in the observation group was 2.1%,which was lower than that in the control group(15.0%),with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of proximal anti-rotary intramedullary nail in the treatment of elderly patient with femoral intertrochanteric fracture is more effective,with higher safety.
