ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of standardized nursing and health education for children with amblyopia during treatment.Methods84 children with amblyopia in our hospital from October 2014 to October 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 42 cases in each group.The control group received routine eye care,while the observation group received standardized nursing health education.The compliance during treatment,the incidence of adverse events,time of treatment,nursing satisfaction of parents,effective rate,the levels of visual acuity and contrast sensitivity before and after nursing were compared between two groups.ResultsThe compliance during treatment,nursing satisfaction of parents and effective rate in the observation group were higher than that in the control group,the incidence of adverse events was lower than that in the control group,the time of treatment was shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing,there were no significant differences betwee the the levels of visual acuity and contrast sensitivity in two groups(P>0.05);after nursing,the levels in two groups were increased,and compared with those before nursing,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),and thoses in the observation group was higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionStandardized nursing care and health education for children with amblyopia can improve children's compliance,reduce adverse events and improve their parents'satisfaction.
