Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the selection of arterial blood sampling sites for blood gas analysis,so as to improve the work efficiency of nurses.Methods72 patients receiving arterial blood sampling who were admitted to our department from March 2015 to August 2017 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group,36 patients in each group.Arterial blood samples were collected from the femoral artery in the control group for blood gas analysis.Arterial blood samples were collected from brachial artery for blood gas analysis in the observation group. The patients′compliance, the success rate of one-time arterial blood sampling, pain, the incidence of subcutaneous hematoma, and the incidence of skin bruise were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe compliance rate was 94.4%in observation group and 80.5%in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The successful rate of one-time arterial blood sampling in the observation group was 91.7%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(80.6%).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the pain between the two groups(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 8.4%,and the adverse reaction rate was 13.9%in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with the arterial blood samples collected from femoral artery, the samples collected from brachial artery can obviously improve the compliance of patients, the success rate of one-time arterial blood sampling, relieve the local pain caused by puncture, reduce adverse reactions such as subcutaneous hematoma and skin bruising, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
