Abstract:Objective To observe the application of nursing intervention under the model of bio-psycho-social medicine in patients with bipolar disorder.Methods A total of 80 patients with bipolar disorder who were admitted to the Department of Psychiatry,the Fifth People′s Hospital of Jiujiang from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects.Patients were divided into control(n=40)and observation(n=40)groups using the random number table method.The control group was used routine nursing care,and the observation group was added nursing intervention under the biological-psychological-social medicine model on the basis of the control group.The manic state(Beck-Lafansen mania scale[BRMS])and quality of life(quality of life Scale[SF-36])of the two groups before and after intervention were compared.Results Before intervention,there were no significant differences in BRMS and SF-36 scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After 45 days of intervention,the BRMS scores of the two groups were lower than those before intervention,and the BRMS scores of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 45 days of intervention,the scores of SF-36 in both groups was higher than that before intervention,and the score of SF-36 in observation group was higher than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention under the bio-psychosocial medicine model can reduce the mania of patients with bipolar disorder and improve the quality of life of patients,which is worthy of application.
