Objective To explore the clinical effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in mini titanium plate fixation for jaw fracture. Methods 91 patients with mini plate rigid internal fixation for jaw fracture from February 2015 to July 2016 treated in our hospital were selected as objects and were divided into two groups by nursing mode.45 patients in the control group were received routine care, and 46 patients in the observation group were given comprehensive nursing intervention. The nursing effect in two groups were compared. Results The operation time and hospitalization time of the patients in the observation group were shorter than that in the control group, while the hospitalization expenses was less than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The analgesic use rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the fracture anatomical reduction rate and nursing satisfaction were higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in the treatment of jaw fracture with mini titanium plate fixation is significant and worthy of clinical promotion.
