Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention on promoting successful breastfeeding in the puerpera with crater nipples(including flat nipples).Methods100 puerpera with crater nipples(including flat nipples)who were treated in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2015 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number method,the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group,with 50 cases in each group.Puerperas in the control group were given routine nursing intervention,and puerperas in the observation group were given comprehensive nursing intervention.The incidence of nipples recovery and nipple comfort and the breastfeeding situation were compared between two groups.ResultsThe The incidence of nipples recovery and nipple comfort of puerperas withⅠ-Ⅱ crater nipples and all the puerperas in the observation were higher than that in the control group.At discharge and 1,2,3,4,6 months after discharge,the incidence of breastfeeding was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe comprehensive nursing intervention in the puerpera with crater nipples(including flat nipples)is able to significantly improve the comfort rate of nipples,help successful breastfeeding,and improve the breastfeeding rate.It has a positive promoting effect on puerpera,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
