Efficacy of Modified Dachaihu Decoction combined with Octreotide Acetate Injection in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis and its ibfluence on the level of serum tumor necrosis factor

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of modified Dachaihu Decoction combined with Octreotide Acetate Injection in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis and its influence on the level of serum tumor necrosis factor.Methods From January 2018 to December 2020,80 patients with severe acute pancreatitis who were admitted to Fuzhou Second Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University were selected as the study subjects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group(40 cases)and the observation group(40 cases).The control group was treated with Octreotide Acetate Injection,and the observation group was treated with Modified Dachaihu Decoction on the basis of the treatment of the control group.The therapeutic effects,the incidence rate of adverse reactions,intestinal mucosal barrier function,and the level of serum tumor necrosis factor were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of plasma endotoxin,plasma diamine oxidase and urinary lactulose/mannitol in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of plasma endotoxin,plasma diamine oxidase and urinary lactulose/mannitol in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-8 (IL-8)after treatment in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of IL-6,TNF-α and IL-8 in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Con-clusion Modified Dachaihu Decoction combined with Octreotide Acetate Injection in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis can improve the effective rate of treatment,and significantly improve patients′intestinal mucosal barrier function and level of serum tumor necrosis factor,which is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
