Abstract：Objective To compare the effect of somatostatin and Pantoprazole sodium on severe acute pancreatitis.Methods From October 2016 to May 2017,92 patients with severe acute pancreatitis in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups.The Pantoprazole sodium was provided in both control group and research group.On the basis,somatostatin was added in the research group.The clinical effect in the two groups was compared.Results In the research group,the time to wean from mechanical ventilation was (3.26±1.61) d,the average time of gastrointestinal function recovery was (3.26±1.05) d,and abdominal pain relief time was (2.16±1.56) d,which were all shorter compared with those in the control group [(5.64±1.46),(4.62±1.24),(4.64±1.82) d],the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);3,6 d after treatment,the APACHE-Ⅱscores of the research group were better than the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of Pantoprazole sodium and somatostatin can obtain an optimal effect on treating severe acute pancreatitis.
