Abstract:Objective To study the effect of ultra-pulsed CO2 laser in the treatment of atrophic scar. Methods Forty patients with atrophic scar in the Department of Dermatology of our Hospital were enrolled in this study from February to October 2016.The patients were treated with ultra-pulsed CO2 laser. The clinical effects, adverse events,ECCA scores, and skin texture values were observed after 1 month and 3 months of treatment. Results The total effective rate was 75% and 95% after 1 month and 3 months of treatment, the difference was significant (P<0.05).In addition, after treatment,9 patients with hyperpigmentation, the incidence was 22.5%.At the same time,ECCA score and skin texture value of all patients were significantly lower than those before treatment, the differences were significant (P<0.01).Conclusion Ultra-pulsed carbon dioxide treatment can improve the condition of skin lesions of patients with atrophic scar, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and the clinical promotion value is higher.
