Application effect of positive psychology theory in rehabilitation nursing of schizophrenia

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of positive psychology theory in rehabilitation nursing of schizophrenia.Methods A total of 96 patients with schizophrenia in Mental Hospital of Guangzhou Civil Affairs Burea from May 2019 to April 2020 were selected as subjects.The patients were divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the random number table method,48 patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing.The experimental group received routine nursing combined with positive psychological theory intervention.The scores of happiness enterprising initiative questionnaire(HEIQ)scale and self -rated health measurement scale(SRHMS)were observed and compared between the two groups at admission and 1,2,3 months after intervention.Results After 1,2,and 3 months of intervention,the HEIQ scores of patients of the two groups were gradually increased and higher than the HEIQ scores at admission,the differences within the group were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 1,2,and 3 months of intervention,the scores of HEIQ scale in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group at the same time period,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 1,2,and 3 months of intervention,the SRHMS scale scores of patients of the two groups were gradually increased and higher than the SRHMS scale scores at admission,the differences within the group were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 1,2,and 3 months of intervention,the scores of SRHMS scale in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group at the same time,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of positive psychology theory to patients with schizophrenia can improve the health status of patients while improving their happiness and enterprising,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
