Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of nursing intervention during surgery for patients with cervical cancer complicated with intermuscular venous thrombosis of calf. Methods A total of 172 patients with cervical cancer who underwent surgery at the Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital from May 2017 to March 2020 were selected as research subjects. These patients were divided into the control group (n=129) and the observation group (n=43) according to the order of admission. All selected patients were treated with cervical conization. The control group took conventional nursing measures, while the observation group adopted preventive nursing measures before surgery besides conventional nursing. The total incidence of complications, nursing satisfaction, comfort score, skeletal and short musculoskeletal function assessments (SMFA) score and quality of life score between the two groups were compared. Results The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction and comfort scores of the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Before the intervention, there were no significant difference in the scores of the upper and lower extremity SMFA between the two groups (P>0.05).After the intervention, the upper and lower extremity SMFA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Quality of life scores in the dimensions of physiology, psychology, social relations, and environment of the observation group were higher than those the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Cervical cancer combined with intermuscular venous thrombosis of the calf, through reasonable preoperative evaluation, perioperative thrombosis prevention and other nursing measures, can well prevent the complications caused by thrombosis.
