Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of balloon-type endotracheal intubation fixator in patients with oral endotracheal intubation. Methods A total of 81 patients with oral endotracheal intubation admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from February 2017 to May 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group(40 cases)and the observation group(41 cases). The control group used traditional tape to fix the catheter, and the observation group used balloon-type endotracheal intubation fixator to fix the catheter. The incidence of catheter displacement, intubation fixation time, replacement time of fixation and tape, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, and total incidence of skin complications were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of catheter displacement in the observation group was 36.6%,which was lower than 62.5% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The intubation fixation time and replacement time of fixation and tape in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS score of the observation group was(4.1±0.9)points,which was lower than the(6.3±1.2)points of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of skin complications in the observation group was 7.3%,which was lower than 27.5% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of balloon-type endotracheal intubation fixator in patients with oral endotracheal intubation is significant and can be popularized in clinic.
