Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of Dexmedetomidine in patients with thyroid operation. Methods All of 180 patients with thyroid surgery treated in our hospital from May 2015 to July 2017 were selected.According to the different drugs used during extubation of general anesthesia, the patients were divided into the observation group and control group, there were 90 cases in each group. The observation group was given 0.5 μg/kg Dexmedetomidine during tracheal intubation and extubation under general anesthesia, while the control group was injected with the same amount of normal saline. Results There was no significant difference in operation time, eye opening time and extubation time between the two groups (P>0.05).The heart rate and systolic blood pressure of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at injection of Dexmedetomidine or saline (t3),extubation (t4)and 1 min(t5)after extubation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence rate of cough, nausea and vomiting in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of hypotension and bradycardia was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of Dexmedetomidine during extubation under general anesthesia is better, which can effectively reduce the occurrence of cough, nausea and other adverse reactions.
