Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of abnormal thyroid function on negative emotion of spontaneous premature parturient. Methods A total of 98 cases of spontaneous preterm delivery in Xinfeng County People′s Hospital from January 2016 to December 2019 were selected. Free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) were detected postpartum. The Hamilton depression scale (HAMD)-24 items and the Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) were used to assess negative emotions. The HAMD and HAMA scores of patients with normal and abnormal FT3, FT4 and TSH were compared, the influence of abnormal thyroid function on anxiety and depression was analyzed. Results There were no statistical significances in HAMD and HAMA scores of spontaneous preterm parturiums with normal and abnormal FT3 and FT4 levels (P>0.05). HAMD and HAMA scores of spontaneous preterm parturials with abnormal TSH were higher than those with normal TSH, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the detection rate of depression and anxiety between abnormal FT3 and FT4 levels and normal levels of spontaneous preterm delivery (P>0.05). The detection rates of depression and anxiety in spontaneous preterm parturiums with abnormal TSH level were higher than those in normal TSH group, with statistical significances (P<0.05). Conclusion TSH is an influential factor for the negative emotions of spontaneous preterm delivery women, and the women with abnormal spontaneous preterm delivery are more likely to have anxiety and depression. It should arouse the clinician′s attention, early attention and prevention, to carry on the targeted psychological counseling and intervention.
