Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of quality control before the application of routine clinical testing of urine. Methods A total of 300 patients who underwent routine urine examination in the No.8 Medical Center, General Hospital of Chinese PLA laboratory medicine department from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were divided into the control group (150 cases) and the experimental group (150 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group used the traditional quality management mode for routine urine test, and the experimental group used pre analysis quality control. The qualified rate of routine urine specimens, the quality of routine urine examination, the satisfaction of doctors and patients were compared between the two groups, and the reasons for unqualified routine urine specimens were analyzed. Results The passing rate of routine urine specimens in test group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total score of urine routine test and the quality scores of environment, technology and personnel in experimental group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of routine urine test was higher in the experimental group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The main reasons for unqualified samples were contamination of samples, wrong collection and small sample size. Conclusion The application of pre-analytical quality control of urine routine clinical testing can improve the sample qualification rate and test quality, and has the value of popularizing.
