Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of postoperative hierarchy of needs nursing in patients with ovarian cysts. Methods A total of 100 patients with ovarian cyst after operation in our hospital from January 2016 to May 2019 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into control group (50 cases) and observation group (50 cases) according to the method of random number table.Routine nursing was used in the control group, hierarchical nursing was used in the observation group.Postoperative recovery, self-care ability assessment scale (ESCA) score, total complication rate, nursing satisfaction score and quality of life score were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative exhaust time, bedtime activity time, hospitalization time and diet recovery time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The ESCA score of the observation group was (114.63±16.21) points, which was higher than (106.05±14.85) points of the control group , the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence rate of complications in the observation group was 6.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction score and quality of life score in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The hierarchy of need nursing can shorten the patients′ postoperative exhaust time, bedtime, hospitalization time and diet recovery time, improve patients′ self-care ability, nursing satisfaction and quality of life, reduce the incidence of patients′ complications, which is worthy of clinical application.
