Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness of laparoscopic high ligation of sacral sac in the treatment of pediatric inguinal hernia and its effect on complications. Methods A total of 100 children with inguinal hernia who were admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, 50 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with laparoscopic high-level ligation of the umbilical sac, and the control group underwent classic transumbilical laparoscopic high ligation of the hernia sac.The intraoperative blood loss, operation time, hospital stay, postoperative complication rate, incision scar (scarring rate) and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss and operation time between the two groups (P>0.05).The hospitalization time and incision pain duration in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in recurrence rate between the two groups at 30 days after operation (P>0.05).Conclusions Umbilical single-site laparoscopic high ligation of the hernia sac in the treatment of indirect inguinal hernia does not destroy the umbilical ring. The postoperative complications are reduced, and the incision is relatively beautiful and easy to be accepted by patients. It is worthy of promotion, but the operation is relatively more difficult. The surgeon has high technical requirements.
