Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of arthroscopic surgery for traumatic recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation. Methods Sixty-eight patients with traumatic recurrent anterior shoulder dislocation who underwent surgery from January 2017 to January 2019 in our hospital were enrolled. The patients were divided into the control group (34 cases) and the observation group (34 cases) according to the coin-throwing method. The control group was treated with conventional surgery and the observation group was treated with arthroscopic surgery. Post-treatment visual anglogue scale (VAS) scores and shoulder joint recovery function scores (Rowe) were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The Rowe score of activity, stability, functional recovery of the observation group was higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Arthroscopic treatment for patients with traumatic recurrent anterior dislocation of shoulder joint can effectively reduce postoperative pain, speed up postoperative recovery of shoulder joint function, and improve patients' quality of life.
