Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets combined with Simvastatin Tablets in the treatment of angina pectoris in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods Altogether 158 patients with angina pectoris of CHD treated in our hospital from January to December 2018 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group (79 cases) and observation group (79 cases) by random number table method. The control group was treated with Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets alone. The observation group was treated with Simvastatin Tablets combined with Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets. The clinical treatment indicators, therapeutic indicators and total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At the end of treatment, the number of attacks in the observation group was fewer than that in the control group, the duration of angina pectoris in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The mouse anti-human tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1), serum vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and total effective rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Simvastatin Tablets combined with Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets can effectively improve the prognosis of patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, which is worth popularizing.
