Abstract：Objective To compare the clinical value of multi-slice spiral CT and X-ray in the diagnosis of New Cryptococcal pneumonia.Methods A total of 100 patients with suspected New Cryptococcal pneumonia treated in our hospital from June 2016 to May 2019 were selected as the research subjects.All patients underwent X-ray examination,multi-slice spiral CT examination.Pathological diagnosis was set as the gold standard, the detection results of lesions and signs of the two methods were compared.Results The lesion detection rate, sign detection rate, specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy of the multi-slice spiral CT examination were significantly higher than those of the X-ray examination, and the missed and misdiagnosed rates of the multi-slice spiral CT examination were significantly lower than those of the X-ray examination, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Multi-slice spiral CT scan has a higher detection rate of New Cryptococcal pneumonia, and its clinical application value is significantly higher than that of X-ray, which is worth popularizing widespreadly in clinic.
