Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical application value of multi-parameter magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)in the differential diagnosis of uterine carcinosarcoma (CS) and low-risk endometrial cancer (EC).Methods Retrospectively,20 patients with CS and 20 patients with low-risk EC admitted to Benxi Central Hospital from March to November 2019 were selected as CS group and low-risk EC group, respectively, the condition of MRI examinations was compared between the two groups. Results The number of cystic degeneration/necrosis,hemorrhage,and vascular flow void shadows in CS patients were higher than those in low-risk EC patients, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and relative apparent diffusion coefficient (rADC) between CS patients and low-risk EC patients (P>0.05).The maximum tumor diameter, the ratio of intrauterine thickness to uterine diameter (ETAP) and the maximum relative enhancement rate (MRER) in CS patients were higher than those in low-risk EC patients, while the Washout rate was lower than that in low-risk EC patients (P<0.05).Receivers operating characteristic (ROC) curve showed that the area under the maximum diameter curve (AUC)of the tumor was 0.877,ETAP AUC was 0.906,and MRER AUC was 0.979.The sensitivity and specificity were the highest when the maximum diameter of the tumor was 38.2 mm,ETAP was 0.479,and MRER was 1.300.Conclusion In the diagnosis of CS and low-risk EC,the maximum diameter of tumor,ETAP and MRER in MRI examination can be used for differential diagnosis.
