Abstract:Objective To explore the value of serum glycocholic acid (CG) in the diagnosis of liver diseases. Methods A total of 200 patients with liver disease admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the observation group, further according to liver disease, they were divided into liver cancer group, viral hepatitis group and cirrhosis group, and 200 healthy subjects who received physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group, serum CG and other liver function indexes were detected.Liver function indexes were compared, and the correlation between serum CG level and other liver function indexes in patients with different liver diseases was analyzed, as well as the diagnostic efficacy of liver function indexes for various liver diseases. Results Serum levels of CG, total bile acid (TBA), glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase (ALT), alanine aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and total bilirubin (TBil) in liver cancer group were higher than those in control group, viral hepatitis group and cirrhosis group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The indexes of cirrhosis group were higher than those of viral hepatitis group and control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The indexes of viral hepatitis group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).In viral hepatitis group, cirrhosis group and liver cancer group, there was a positive correlation between serum CG and TBA, ALT, AST, ALP, TBil (P<0.05).The diagnostic efficacy of serum CG in viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and liver cancer was higher than that of other liver function indexes, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Serum CG is usually abnormally elevated in liver lesions.Serum CG has a good value in differential diagnosis of liver lesions
