Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of oral exercise intervention on oral feeding in premature infants. Methods A total of 60 premature babies admitted in our hospital from October 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group.Conventional nursingmethodswas given in the control group, and the study group was given oral exercise intervention of breastmilk on the bases of the control group. The feeding performance, weight gain and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The feeding efficiency at the beginning of oral feeding, the intake of oral feeding, and the feeding efficiency of the whole oral feeding in the study group were higher than those of the control group, the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).The body weight of preterm infants in the study group at the time of complete feeding and discharge were higher than those in the control group, the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Oral exercise intervention of breastmilk can effectively promote the improvement of oral feeding in premature infants, and promote the growth and development of premature infants, which help to reduce the risk of adverse reactions in feeding.
