Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application value of predictive nursing in preventing pulmonary infection in patients undergoing tracheotomy in neurosurgical intensive care unit (NICU).Methods A total of 90 patients with tracheotomy and pulmonary who were admitted to our hospital from June 2015 and June 2019 were selected as the subjects. They were divided into the observation group (n=45) and the control group (n=45) by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given both routine nursing and predictive nursing. The situation of pulmonary infection, effects of anti-infective treatment, total incidence of adverse reactions and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence rate of pulmonary infection and the total incidence rate of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The effective rate of anti-infective therapy and satisfaction scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of predictive nursing is good in patients undergoing tracheotomy in NICU.It can effectively reduce pulmonary infection, improve the effective rate of anti-infective treatment, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, and improve the satisfaction of patients and their family members. It is worthy of clinical use.
