Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of multidisciplinary team on postoperative pain management in total hip arthroplasty (THA) for 72 hours. Methods From February to July 2016, 92 patients who underwent THA in our hospital were selected and divided into observation group and control group on the longitudinal axis of time. The control group used routine pain management after hip replacement, while the observation group was combined with multidisciplinary, the incidence of moderate and severe pain and the efficiency of pain management between the two groups within 72 h after operation were compared. Results The incidence of moderate and severe activity pain in the observation group within 72 h after operation was lower than that in the control group, the effective rates of pain management was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment teams, can effectively reduce the pain intensity after THA for 72 h and improve the pain management effect after THA.
