Abstract:Objective To study the diagnostic value of combined dual-frequency ultrasound for pediatric intussusception. Methods Retrospective analysis of routine ultrasound and combined dual-frequency ultrasound data of 88 children suspected with intussusceptions treated in our hospital from January 2018 to June 2019 was conducted, with realtimemonitoring of saline enema and surgical results as the golden criterion. The diagnostic results and diagnostic efficacy of conventional ultrasound and combined dual-frequency ultrasound were compared. The diagnosis results and detection rates of different types and lesions were compared between the two diagnostic methods. Results The accuracy and sensitivity of combined dual-frequency ultrasound diagnosis in children with intussusception were higher than those of conventional ultrasound, the differences were statistically(P<0.05).The detection rates between conventional ultrasound and combined dual-frequency ultrasound for different types and lesions had no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Combined dual-frequency ultrasound is of important application value in the diagnosis of pediatric intussusception with high diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity, provides ensurance for early diagnosis and treatment of pediatric intussusception and can bewidely used in clinical diagnosis.
