Abstract:Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of transabdominal ultrasonography in recurrent metastasis after radical operation of colon cancer. Methods A total of 100 patients with suspected recurrence and metastasis after radical resection of colon cancer diagnosed and treated in our hospital from October 2015 to August 2016 were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 50 cases in each group.CT examination was performed in the control group and transabdominal ultrasound examination was performed in the observation group. The detection rate, sensitivity and specificity of the two groups were compared. Results The detection rate of patients in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of patients in the observation group were 95.56%and 80.00%,which were higher than those in the control group(77.78%and 60.00%),and the differences were statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Transabdominal ultrasonography can significantly improve the detection rate, sensitivity and specificity in the patients with recurrent metastasis after radical resection of colon cancer, which is worthy of further promotion and application in the patients with recurrent metastasis after radical operation of colon cancer.
