Abstract:Objective To discuss the applicative effect of nursing identifier management in strengthening nursing quality in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).Methods A total of 73 premature infants admitted to NICU department from January to December 2018 were selected as the observation group, and 73 premature infants admitted to NICU department from January to December 2017 were selected as the control group.In the observation group, the nursing identifier management was implemented, while in the control group, the traditional nursing management was implemented.The incidence rate of nursing error, parents′ tatal satisfaction and nursing quality scores of the two groups were compared.Results The incidence rate of nursing error in the observation group was 1.37%, which was significantly lower than that of the control group (10.96%), with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The parents′ total satisfaction in the observation group was 97.26%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (78.08%), with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The assessment scores of identifier management, risk evaluation, checking works and safety management in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of nursing identifier management in NICU can strengthen nursing quality, improve nursing satisfaction and reduce nursing errors accidents.
