Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of early rehabilitation of swallowing function on improving nutritional status and ability of daily living(ADL)in patients with dysphagia in acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods Eighty-four patients with dysphagia in ACI from February 2018 to June 2019 treated in our hospital were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. In the control group,a conventional treatment plan was carried out,and in the observation group, early rehabilitation training for swallowing function on the basis of the control group was added. The courses of treatment lasted 4 weeks. The swallowing function, nutritional status, and ADL scores of the two groups were evaluated before and after the intervention. Results The swallowing function of the patients in the observation group after intervention was better than that before intervention, and better than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),and triglyceride(TG)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The ADL scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention, and the ADL score of the observation group after intervention was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of early swallowing function rehabilitation exercise in conventional treatment programs can effectively promote the recovery of swallowing function in patients with dysphagia in ACI,increase the ADL score, and improve the nutritional status of patients to a certain extent, which is beneficial to the recovery of the disease.
