Abstract:Objective To explore the nursing effect of continuous nursing service on patients with central venous catheter(PICC)implantation via peripheral vein.Methods All of 400 patients with PICC catheterization admitted from January 2017 to October 2018 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into control group and research group according to random number table method,200 cases in each group.The control group was received routine nursing methods,while the research group was received continuing nursing service intervention.The incidence of catheter-related complications,unplanned extubation,nursing total satisfaction and WHOQOL-00 score before and after nursing were compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence of complications in the study group was 2.00%,lower than 10.50%in the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05);the nursing satisfaction rate in the study group was 99.00%,higher than 91.50%in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05);there was no statistical difference in the physiological health score,psychological state score,independent ability score and social relationship score between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05);the physical health score,psychological state score,independent ability score and social relationship score of the study group after nursing were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Continuing nursing interventions for patients with PICC catheterization can significantly improve the quality of life of patients and reduce catheter-related complications Incidence and unplanned rate,improve nursing satisfaction,it has higher clinical application value.
