Abstract:Objective To analyze the nursing effect of vesicovaginal fistula after extensive hysterectomy for cervical cancer. Methods A total of 103 patients with cervical cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to June 2018 were selected and divided into observation group (n=53)and control group (n=50)according to random number table method.Patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing intervention, while in the observation group, participants were treated with targeted nursing intervention. The incidence of vesicovaginal fistula, quality of life and satisfaction in the two groups were analyzed. Results The incidence of vesicovaginal fistula in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05).At the same time, the quality of life scores including psychological function, physical fitness and activity of daily living in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with extensive cervical resection due to cervical cancer can reduce the incidence of vesicovaginal fistula, improve the quality of life, ensure their health, and increase their satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
