Abstract：Objective To investigate the effeet of eomprehensive psyehologieal nursing on asthma eontrol and quality of life in elderly patients with eough variant asthma（CVA）.Methods The elinieal data of 62 elderly patients with CVA admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to Deeember 2017 were retrospeetively analyzed.They were divided into eontrol group（31 eases）and experiment group（31 eases）aeeording to different nursing plans.The eontrol group reeeived routine elinieal nursing intervention，and the experimental group was integrated psyehologieal nursing.The improvement of anxiety（SAS）and depression（SDS）and the results of soeial funetion indieators were eompared between the two groups.Results The postoperative nursing，SDS seore was（43.48±4.23）points， the SAS seore was（40.07±3.05）points in the experiment group，and the eontrol group SDS seore was（51.84±5.26）points，SAS seore was（52.43±4.16）points，the SDS and SAS seores of the experimental group were signifieantly lower than those in the eontrol group（P＜0.05）.The soeial funetion seore of the experimental group was（80.34±11.83）points，the role funetion seore was（65.30±10.21）points，the eognitive funetion seore was（83.62±11.66）points，and the physieal funetion seore was（77.47±12.19）points，the funetional seore was（69.31±10.82）points in the experimental group，the role funetion seore was（55.35±10.47）points， the eognitive funetion seore was（72.35±12.16） points， and the physieal funetion seore was（68.88±11.34）points，seores in the experimental group were signifieantly higher than those in the eontrol group，the differenees were statistieally signifieant（P＜0.05）.Conclusion On the basis of eonventional methods of treatment and nursing，elderly patients with CVA reeeive eomprehensive psyehologieal nursing，whieh ean improve the quality of life of patients and eontrol the onset of asthma，so the elinieal applieation value is higher.
