Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore and study the effect of path-based health education on improving the negative emotions in hypertensive patients and make an analysis and comparison.MethodsA total of 142 patients with hypertension admitted to our hospital from August 2014 to December 2017 were selected as research objects,and divided into study group and control group according to the method of visiting months,with 71 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine therapy and routine health education,while the study group was treated with routine therapy and routine health education combined with path-based health education.CESD,SDS,SAS score,disease knowledge mastery and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.ResultsBefore the intervention,there was no significant difference in CESD scores between the two groups (P>0.05).CESD scores of patients in two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention,and CESD scores of patients in study group after intervention were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in SDS and SAS scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).The scores of SDS and SAS in the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention,and the scores of SDS and SAS in the study group were lower than those in the control group after intervention,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The mastery overall rate of disease knowledge in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing overall satisfaction of patients in the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionPath-based health education for hypertensive patients can significantly improve their negative emotions,and increase their mastery of disease knowledge as well as nursing satisfaction.
