Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of hysteroscopy and abdominal ultrasonography in the diagnosis of endometrial lesions.Methods Seventy patients probably suspected with endometriosis who were admitted to our hospital from February 2010 to June 2015 were enrolled in this study.All patients were performed with abdominal B-ultrasonography, hysteroscopy,and histopathological examination.The diagnosis of B-ultrasonography,hysteroscopy and pathology was observed;the sensitivity and specificity of B-ultrasonography and hysteroscopy,coincidence rate with the pathological diagnosis were observed.Results Among the 70 patients,there were 66 cases in abnormal diagnosis by histopathology and 4 cases in normal.By the abdominal B-ultrasonography,the number of abnormal and normalcases was 62 and 8 respectively.There were 65 cases in abnormal diagnosis and 5 cases in normal by hysteroscopy.The sensitivity and specificity by hysteroscopical diagnosis were both higher than those by the abdominal B-ultrasonography;the coincidence rates of endometrial polyps,birth control ring incarceration,uterine adhesions,secondary or primary infertility,uterine submucous myoma,and normal endometrial diagnosed by hysteroscope and the total coincidence rate with the pathological diagnosis were both higher in comparison with those by the abdominal B-ultrasonography,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Hysteroscopy is more accurate in the diagnosis of endometrial lesions than abdominal B-ultrasound,which is more beneficial for the condition evaluation and subsequent symptomatic treatment of patients,it is proposed for promotion and application in clinic.
