Abstract:ObjectiveTo compare the differences of Phloroglucinol and cervical catheterization in the degree of cervical softening before hysteroscopic resection.MethodsFrom January 2016 to January 2017,a total of 100 patients treated with hysteroscopic resection in our hospital were selected and divided into Phloroglucinol group and cervical catheterization group according to the random number table method. There were 50 cases in each group. The patients in the Phloroglucinol group were treated with intravenous drip of Phloroglucinol for cervical pretreatment, while the patients in the cervical catheterization group were treated with cervical catheterization on the 16th urine tube for cervical pretreatment. The differences of patients′enlargement size which were no resistance to pass, cervical expansion time, difficulty of cervical expansion and intra-operative cervical leakage rate in the two groups were compared.ResultsThere was no significant difference between the enlargement size which had no resistance to pass of patients in two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the time of cervical expansion to 10.0 mm of patients in two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the difficulty of cervical expansion of patients in two groups(P>0.05).The intra-operative cervical leakage rate in the patients of Phloroglucinol group was significantly lower than that in the cervical catheterization group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with cervical catheterization, the use of Phloroglucinol in hysteroscopic resection of patients with preoperative cervical softening treatment, not only can achieve a good effect of cervical softening, but also can significantly reduce the rate of cervical leakage in patients. And the operation is more simple, clinical application of higher security, can effectively avoid the pain caused by cervical catheterization operation.
