Abstract：Objective To study the effect of the whole course treatment on the return to the community function of patients with schizophrenia.Methods 100 patients with schizophrenia from January 2015 to June in our hospital were researched and divided into observation group and control group by random，each group with 50 cases，patients in the control group were given routine community management，and patients in the observation group were given the whole treatment.The change of brief psychiatric rating scale（BPRS）and social function defect scale（SDSS）scores before and after treatment were compared，recurrence rate，re hospitalization rate，employment rate were compared.Results After treatment，BPRS and SDSS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group［（21.13±2.76）vs （31.08± 3.03），（7.08±1.31）vs（10.87±2.24）］，the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.01）；the recurrence rate and rehospitalization rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group（10%vs 36%，4%vs 24%），the employment rate was higher than that in the control group（56%vs 12%），the differences both were statistically significant（P＜0.01）.Conclusion Implementation of the whole course treatment in patients with schizophrenia，in helping patients to return to the community has a positive significance，it is worthy of promotion and application.
