Application of evidence-based nursing in rehabilitation of schizophrenic patients

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of evidence-based nursing in the rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia.Methods 112 cases of schizophrenia patients from December 2014 to December 2015 in Civil Affairs Bureau of Guangzhou city mental hospital,the patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 56 cases in each group,the control group was given routine nursing,the observation group was received evidence-based nursing,with positive and negative symptom scale (PANSS)and social function the defect scale (SDSS-1)score were used.Results The patients of two groups before nursing,PANSS positive symptoms score,PANSS score of negative symptoms and general psychopathology score had no significant differences(P>0.05);the patients of observation group with PANSS positive symptom score after nursing was(20.4±1.7)points,and PANSS negative symptom score was(10.2± 1.5)points,significantly better than those of control group of(22.7±3.4),(13.2±2.5)points(P<0.05).The nursing of two groups before the occupation ability,social ability,family function and life ability score had no significant difference(P> 0.05);patients in the observation group after the nursing occupation ability was (0.2±0.1),social skills was (0.2±0.1), family function was(0.8±0.1),ability of daily life was(0.8±0.2)points,and the scores were significantly better than those ofcontrol group (P<0.05).Conclusion The application of evidence-based nursing in the rehabilitation nursing of patients with schizophrenia is significant,it is worthy of clinical promotion.
