Objective To explore the application of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application combined with sham feeding in promoting gastrointestinal function recovery after laparoscopic choledocholithotomy. Methods A total of 60 patients who underwent laparoscopic choledocholithotomy in Jiangxi Pingxiang People′s Hospital from November 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the blank group, the control group and the observation group, with 20 cases in each group.Patients in blank group were treated with conventional postoperative treatment, patients in control group were treated with conventional treatment combined with sham feeding, and patients in observation group were treated with Zusanli ructus evodia paste combined with sham feeding. The recovery of gastrointestinal function and the total incidence of complications in the three groups were compared. Results After treatment, the time of first bowel sounds, first anal exhaust, first defecation and first hospital stay in the control group were shorter than those in the blank group, while the time of first bowel sounds, first anal exhaust, first defecation and first hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group and the blank group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications after treatment in the control group was lower than that in the blank group, and the total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than those in the control group and the blank group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The use of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application combined with sham feeding can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function of patients after laparoscopic choledochectomy, shorten the hospital stay, and reduce the incidence of complications with a remarkable effect.
