Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effects of comprehensive nursing intervention on postoperative gastrointestinal function and quality of life in patients with gastric cancer.Methods From June 2016 to May 2017,eighty-eight patients with gastric cancer who underwent surgical treatment in our hoapital were selected.They randomly divided into control groups and observation group,44 cases in each group.In the control group was performed with symptomatic nursing,while the observation group,comprehensive nursing intervention was adopted.The influence of different nursing on postoperative gastrointestinal function and quality of life was evaluated.Results The recovery of bowel sounds,postoperative anal exhaust and recovery of bowel movement in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of abdominal distension,mild abdominal distension or moderate abdominal distension in the two groups (P<0.05).However,the incidence of severe abdominal distension in the observation group was lower,the score of each dimension of life quality were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),anxiety score were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The anxiety scores of the two groups after the nursing were lower than those before the nursing with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of comprehensive nursing interventions in patients with gastric cancer is effective.
