Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Nimodipine in the treatment of cognitive impairment caused by cerebrovascular diseases. Methods A total of 100 patients with cognitive impairment caused by cerebrovascular diseases who were admitted into our hospital from June 2014 to June 2017 were selected as subjects. They were evenly divided into two groups by the random number table method,50 cases in each group. In control group, routine treatment was used, while in the research group,Nimodipine was added on this basis. The simple mental state scale (MMSE)score, the daily activity ability scale (ADL)score before and after treatment, the clinical treatment effect and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared. Results Before treatment, the MMSE and ADL scores of the research group were compared with the control group, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment, the MMSE score of patients in the research group was(25.6±2.6)points,which was significantly higher than that of the control group of(21.3±1.9)points,the ADL score of patients in the research group was(27.8±3.5)points,which was lower than that in the control group of(38.2±4.1)points,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of patients in the research group was 96.0%,which was significantly higher than 80.0%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the research group was 4.0%,which was less than 18.0%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Nimodipine in patients with cognitive impairment caused by cerebrovascular diseases can effectively alleviate patients′symptoms, ameliorate the quality of life, and improve the clinical effect in high safety, which can be promoted.
