Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on improving gastrointestinal function and reducing complications in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Fifty patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy from March 2017 to March 2018 in our hospital were selected as research objects, and they were divided into the control group(25 cases)and the study group(25 cases)according to the random number table method. In the control group, patients were given the routine nursing, and in the study group, patients were given the nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The gastrointestinal function recovery (recovery time of bowel sounds, anal exhaust time, anal defecation time, hospitalization time),postoperative complications, psychological status (self-rating depression scale [SDS],self-rating anxiety scale [SAS])and satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups. Results The recovery time of bowel sounds, anal exhaust time, anal defecation time and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of postoperative complications in the study group was 16.00%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group accounting for 48.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in SDS and SAS scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05).The SDS and SAS scores of the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The SDS and SAS scores after intervention in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of patients in the study group was 96.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(60.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention can significantly shorten the recovery time of gastrointestinal function in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, improve their psychological status and reduce the incidence of complications.Patients have higher nursing satisfaction.
