Abstract:Objective To discuss the effect of diet nursing care on lactation and gastrointestinal function of parturient women after cesarean section. Methods Eighty patients undergoing cesarean section in our hospital from January to April 2019 were selected as research subjects and were divided into the control group (n=40) and the observation group(n=40) by the random number table method. The conventional nursing method was adopted for the control group, and the conventional nursing care+diet nursing intervention method was adopted for the observation group. The lactation and the recovery of gastrointestinal function in the two groups were compared. Results The start time of lactation and the adequate time of lactation in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05); the adequacy ratios of milk at 24 and 48 hours in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05); the first time of flatus, the first time of defection and the appear time of bowel sounds in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05). Conclusion Diet nursing intervention can promote the postpartum milk secretion and shorten the recovery time of gastrointestinal function in parturient women after cesarean section, which has significant overall advantages and is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practice.
